PROJECTS
CYCLING FOR WATER
Along with my good friend Garrett Russell, I bicycled across this massive continent in the Fall of 2010 to raise awareness of our Global Water Crisis, and to raise funds for WaterAid International. We followed the Southern Tier – covering 3,159 miles between San Diego, California and St. Augustine, Florida. We completed the journey in three months – averaging 50 miles a day. Garrett, film-maker extraordinaire, is currently editing a documentary of the journey, soon to be available online as a free web series. To learn more, watch the series, and /or donate to WaterAid, please visit the official website for our journey at CyclingForWater.com

LONDON
London is never calling.... London SCREAMS at me, relentlessly. And I quite like it. I can't get enough of her, to be honest. So I return, time and time again, to engage in this lusty and somewhat-forbidden love affair. I set out, back in 2009, to document the "creative underbelly "of the city. I wanted genuine portriats of genuine people, in their own spaces, oftentimes right where I found them. The project incorporates short interviews with each portrait, addressing the ideas of worry and hope. My hope is for this project to become a book that will bring us all closer together, uniting us through the common threads of emotion and desire. Stay tuned for updates as production (and the search for a publisher!) continues.

SEMESTER AT SEA
"Established in 1963, Semester at Sea is the only study abroad program of its kind in the world. Using a ship as a traveling campus, undergraduates, lifelong learners, faculty, and lecturers live and learn together while circumnavigating the globe each fall and spring semester and exploring a world region each May and summer term." I have had the utter good fortune to sail twice as the Staff Photographer for this incredible program, and hope for more opportunites in my future.
The Mission of Semester at Sea is "to educate individuals with the global understanding necessary to address the challenges of our interdependent world. With the world as our classroom, our unique shipboard program integrates multiple-country study, interdisciplinary coursework, and hands-on field experiences for meaningful engagement in the global community." semesteratsea.org
